TRADITIONAL Chinese t’ai chi exercises could help diabetics control their blood sugar levels, researchers claimed today.

Studies due to be published in the British Journal of Sports Medicine found a 12-week programme of t’ai chi boosted the body’s immune system in people suffering Type 2 diabetes, which is linked to obesity.
