次按影響消費態度較審慎

貿發局表示,美國市場的聖誕銷售上升百分之四,較去年低百分之零點六,是五年來錄得最低的升幅,而傳統玩具銷情並無受到早前多宗玩具回收事件影響,銷情穩 定.貿發局助理首席經濟師潘永才表示,美國消費者受次按影響,消費態度較前審慎,更重視折扣及減價,令到提供較多折扣的零售店舖,生意較百貨公司好.
潘永才又表示,雖然歐洲經濟較好,但消費者未如預期進取,英國的聖誕銷售只有百分之二點五升幅,亦低於去年.
