Gallery of Fluid Mechanics: Flow Vizualization by Condensation: “FLOW VIZUALIZATION BY CONDENSATION In day to day life we observe the details of fluid flows primarily by watching the trajectories of suspended particles. After all, the two most abundant fluids on Earth are air and water which are colorless and therefore invisible without tracers. Such observations are best suited for revealing the flow kinematics, i.e., the motions of the individual particles in the flow, and are an invaluable insight into the nature of the flow at hand.”
